Our Baristas are the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in delivering a welcoming and memorable experience. They greet every guest with a customer-first attitude, consistently demonstrating our 5 Steps of Customer Service. Baristas are expected to arrive on time, follow all recipes and standards precisely, and properly operate all brewing equipment. In addition to preparing coffee, tea, and pastries, they rotate through various roles including register, bar, and floater as needed. Orders are completed efficiently and with a friendly demeanor, ensuring each customer interaction reflects our commitment to quality. Cleanliness is a shared responsibility, and Baristas help maintain all areas of the café—from the dining room and service bar to the dish station and bathrooms. Deep cleaning tasks and restocking are carried out according to management checklists to keep operations running smoothly. Any customer concerns or maintenance issues are promptly addressed or reported, in line with training and company expectations. Requirements: Previous customer service experience required Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand for prolonged periods of time frequently
What you'll do
- Greet all customers warmly with a customer-first attitude, following the 5 Steps of Customer Service
- Prepare coffee, tea, and pastries accurately by following all recipes and quality standards
- Operate all brewing and kitchen equipment properly and safely
- Rotate through café roles as needed, including register, bar, and floater positions
- Ensure efficient, friendly service with each order to maintain a positive guest experience
- Uphold cleanliness standards throughout the café, including dining area, bar, dish station, and restrooms
- Complete daily and deep cleaning tasks as outlined in management checklists
- Restock supplies to maintain smooth and uninterrupted operations
- Report customer concerns and equipment issues promptly and appropriately
- Arrive on time and ready to work, following dress code and company expectations

- Comfortable multitasking – able to handle taking orders, making drinks, and cleaning without getting overwhelmed
- Works well on a team – communicates clearly and supports coworkers during busy shifts
- Can stay on your feet – physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed
- Takes initiative – jumps in to help, cleans up without being asked, and notices what needs to get done
- Good under pressure – stays calm and keeps a positive attitude during rushes
- Basic food safety awareness – understands how to handle food and drinks safely and cleanly
Nice to have
- Previous hospitality experience
- Comfort using Toast POS
- Bilingual or multilingual
- Basic knowledge of coffee or tea
- Creative eye for presentation
- Customer conflict resolution
