Project Manager

About the Role

What you'll do

• Plan, execute, and close natural gas distribution, service line installation, and telecommunications projects
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate with utility clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Conduct regular site visits and safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Manage project budgets and track costs against approved estimates
• Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management
• Ensure all permits, environmental regulations, and safety protocols are followed
• Resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely manner
• Oversee quality control and final project deliverables

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in utility infrastructure
• Knowledge of natural gas systems, telecommunications, or underground construction preferred
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and OSHA requirements
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
